So! I'm glad to see you've come to take an interest in my horrible little collection of miscreants, cantakerous fools, affronts to god, and Mew Mew Du Jours. I would love to make some of these stories into actual publised works one day, but I've always been too scared to put them all up on social media. Maybe creating a personal site instead will feel a little less scary?
I've been writing creatively my whole life. My mother's incredible collection of books and literature always inspired me to think up stories and scenarios, even if that's not my chosen field of study. The first set of characters were daydreamed when I was 9 or 10 and watching Markipier videos on my 2DS. The second were written with a little more sophisticated thought, in my last year of high school while learning more about politics, the economy, and why BNHA sort of fumbled a really cool concept. I have 350 or so characters, but my favorites always seem to end up in some sort of a story.
The year is 2088, and the world is starting to fall apart. Literally. Despite humanity's great technological advances and ability to move beyond the primitive natural world, a great rift in the sky is starting to destroy and defragment realit as we know it. A group of five teenagers, each gifted the abilities of a different primordial entity through a fragment of their power, are reborn as demigods tasked with repairing the rift. Their greatest foe, the entity of time and space, is working hard to unravel reality and return to the primordal plane she was cast away from.
Superheroes have been real for a very long time. For years, members of different species and races came together to join their powers to protect those who couldn't protect themselves. Over the ages, heroism has been tainted by corruption, hatred, power imbalance, and the glamour of the media. The Golden Age of Heroism was marked with fanfare, wealth, celebration, and fame for the few who were strong enough to survive the trials of hero school and sign on for life with an agency of their choice. However, a poorly created safety campaign, the fall of several popular heroes, and growing mistrust between heroes and civilians brought an end to Golden Era. Left to pick up the pieces, debut supervillain Ozymandias promises to abolish the whole thing and bring about a world where citizens feel empowered to help themselves. Would this new era stand the test of time? Or will the hero's removal of all obstacles end his ambitions once and for all?
